FLAT WEFT EXTENSIONS

Flat Weft - Whats new? This is a hybrid of a hand tied and a machine weft. These are a combination of material, thread and keratin to make the weft. It has the flatness of a hand tied and durability of a machine and can be cut to customized sizes.

HAND-TIED WEFT HAIR EXTENSIONS

Hand Tied Weft - is ALL THE RAGE! Strands tied by hand onto 2 strings to create a weft. This weft is thin and allows the extensions to lay flatter to the head. As the hair grows the flexibility of the hand tied wefts help to keep the weft flowing with the natural hair. This also allows you to double or triple the weft to add volume.

I-TIP EXTENSIONS / BEADED EXTENSIONS / CYLINDER EXTENSIONS

i-Tip Extensions & Beaded Extensions (aka Cylinder extensions) are a lightweight strand by strand method. Cylinder extensions are attached by feeding the natural hair through a metal bead. An I-Tip extension is then inserted into the bead and it is clamped shut. This method blends seamlessly with the clients natural hair due to the smaller attachment area. Cylinder extensions require maintenance visit at 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the texture of your hair. The extensions are then worn for additional 4-8 months which gives the client approximately 12 months of usage. Depending on the amount of hair being added in to the clients hair, a full head of cylinder extensions can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours for application.

KERATIN TIP EXTENSIONS

Keratin tip extensions also known as fusion extensions are lightweight strand by strand method. The hair is attached by using a mini fusion gun on a low heat setting to mold the keratin tip extension into a small section of the clients hair. This method is the most adaptable to different hair types due to the ability to reduce its size to a micro keratin tip. This method take anywhere from 3-6 hours for a full head and last up to 6 months. There is no maintenance appointment with keratin tip extensions. The hair can only be used for one application and can not be reused when the extensions are taken out.

MACHINE WEFT EXTENSIONS

Machine Weft - This is the extension hair everyone tries 1st. Loose or bulk hair is fed through a triple head sewing machine to reinforce the stitching. Machine wefts are 2 thin wefts sewn together. Some manufactures also apply glue to reduce shedding.

MICRO LINK BEADED WEFT EXTENSIONS

Micro Link Beaded Weft extensions are wefts that are pre beaded. Same applications the Beaded sew in weft method but this one has no thread involved. Reapplication needed at about 6 to 7 weeks as the clients natural hair grows out. This method is applied by feeding the clients natural hair through a metal bead and clamping the bead closed.

MICRO LOOP EXTENSIONS

Micro Loop extensions are a lightweight strand by strand method. Natural hair is fed through the middle of the metal beaded extension and the bead clamped shut. This method blends seamlessly with the clients natural hair due to the hair going through the middle of the extension and the smaller attachment area. Micro Loop extensions require maintenance visit at 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the texture of your hair. The extensions are then worn for additional 4-8 months which gives the client approximately 12 months of usage. Depending on the amount of hair being added in to the clients hair, a full head of micro loop extensions can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours for application and 1/2 of that for maintenance visits.

TAPE-IN HAIR EXTENSIONS

Tape in hair extensions are pre-cut, pre-taped hair extensions. The tape is a medical grade adhesive. The tape in extensions are applied by sandwiching the natural hair in between two pieces of tape extensions. This method last about 7 to 10 weeks before re-application is required. Most clients will get about three applications out of each set of extensions giving them approximately six months of usage with the tape in extensions hair. The application process is faster but maintenance appts can take up to 3 hours.

Weft sew in hair extensions are most adaptable extension option due to its availability and cost. The beaded weft method can be used with hand tied weft hair extensions, machine weft, or flat weft hair extensions. The MicroBead method is applied by feeding the clients natural hair through a metal bead and then sewing the weft to the beads. Both need to be maintenance at 6 to 7 weeks as the clients natural hair grows out.
